Abstract

Cécile Aptel is the Deputy Director of UNICEF’s Global Office of Research and Foresight. She is also a professor of practice at the Fletcher School and visiting scientist at Harvard. She recently published her book Atrocity Crimes, Children and International Criminal Courts: Killing Childhood (Routledge, 2023). For this Special Issue, we – the editors of this Special Issue – invited her to answer several questions about the topic of her new book.
