Description

This Liber Amicorum honours Arjen W.H. Meij, who, after years of service in the national judiciary, sat as a judge at the General Court of the European Union from 1998 to 2010.

The interweaving of today’s legal orders – national, European and international – has been a topic of particular interest to Arjen Meij throughout his career. The essays contained in this volume examine this theme, while also considering specific issues related to recent developments in the field of EU law.

This Liber Amicorum draws together contributions by distinguished figures from national and European judiciaries, legal practice, and the academic world.
